The Chinese Crested dog breed is unique in appearance. They come in two non-shedding varieties: "hairless" and "powderpuff". Both varieties are elegant and graceful and make loving companions. Although they may be reserved around strangers, they tend to be a happy, friendly dogs that are very adaptable to all indoor living arrangements.

Grooming: The non-shedding, coat of either variety needs very little brushing and trimming for neatness.
Social Skills: This friendly small dog gets along with other dogs and household pets.
Personality: Very energetic, affectionate and playful. Make good watchdogs.
Children: Very good with respectful older children.
Housing: Easily adapts to any indoor living conditions including apartments and condos.
Exercise: High energy. Loves neighborhood walks and play in the yard.

History: Chinese Crested origin is China (since 13th century) and was often used as a stomach warmer to drive out sickness
and also used as a hunter of vermin as a 'Chinese Ship Dog'.
